Second part of the exchange with Winchendon High School, a group of 1ère and terminales students taking the European mathematics option are in Boston and New York from October 16 to 25. Find out more about their stay here.
Wednesday, October 16
Good morning to you all!
We arrived safely in Boston, then in Winchendon last night at 7.30pm (1.30am for you) in the rain.
The trip went very well. No problems to report. We cleared US customs quickly and easily.
The students have now all been allocated to their host families, and we’re going to meet them again this morning to give them an update on their first evening/night of immersion before the day’s classes at Winchendon high school.
Thursday, October 17
First day, rainy day, but a warm welcome from the students, the teachers and the staff. We’ve visited Winchendon school and attended different courses. Our students are already living the American way of life!
Friday, October 18
Activities on campus: lessons, sports, arts … And a discovery of Winchendon before the weekend!
And guess what? The sun is here!

After the discovery of Boston and the visit of M.I.T, it was time to leave Winchendon and the fabulous people we met there.
Then, we made it to New York City!

Rainy day but busy day in Manhattan!
The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, China Town, Grand Central, 5th Avenue
Wednesday, October 23
Last days in New York City! 9/11 memorial, lunch with the squirrels of Central Park, sunset on top of the Empire State Building, Times Square and the visit of The MoMA.
